Holmwood student for court today

Eighteen-year-old Holmwood Technical High student, Devontae Sparks, who has been charged with the murder of one of his schoolmates, is to appear in court today.

The grade 11 student was charged on Tuesday.

It’s reported that two students from the school, including Sparks, had a dispute in the town of Mandeville in Manchester.

Sixteen-year-old Stephan Hanson reportedly intervened and was allegedly stabbed twice.

He was taken to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where he later died.
