JCF to revamp recruitment process, shuts down centres
Persons looking to enlist in the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) will have to wait until May before they can apply.
This after the JCF announced yesterday that it has temporarily shut down all its recruitment centres across the island.
In a statement, the JCF said the closure is to facilitate a comprehensive review of its recruiting systems and methods to make the process more efficient for applicants.
It says the revamped process should see the introduction of a user-friendly, interactive online application system, which will allow for speedier processing and scheduling of entrance examinations.
The recruitment centres are scheduled to reopen on May 4.
