New Year’s Day
Another year vanishes with firework smoke,
Warm spring quietly sneaks into households.
Opening doors and windows embrace a fresh sunshine,
New lucky charms are up blessing a prosperous time.

Wang Anshi (1021-1086) was a Chinese poet and prose writer, best known as a prime minister and socio-economic reformer of the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1125).
Ken Fan (Fana Gongsheng) holds a PhD in mathematics from Columbia University and is currently working in Hong Kong as a business manager.
