New toll road

Motorists traverse the newly completed Linstead-Moneague link of the North-South Highway - built as a bypass to the hilly and winding Mount Rosser road in St Catherine - on August 5. Travel will be free for one month. A toll will be implemented on September 5, ranging from $200 for sedans to $1,000 for trucks. The bypass is just one segment of a highway being built by China Harbour Engineering Company that will eventually extend from Caymanas in St Catherine to Mammee Bay in St Ann - bypassing both Flat Bridge and Mount Rosser. - Photo by Donald Delahaye
