The new product, called 'Emperor Wray', is a first of its kind for Jamaica, where the largest rums were previously packaged in sizes below two litres.

Wray & Nephew said in a press release that the first 100 bottles of Emperor Wray will be doled out free "to Jamaicans who have displayed exemplary national service, from a diverse array of fields, including sports, commerce, politics, and more".

The recipients include the company's longest-serving employee with 46 years of service, Alfred Kanhai, a general auto technician in the company's agricultural division.
