Another three directors of Access Financial Services Limited resigned from the board on January 7, including chairman Brian Goldson.

The others are Maureen Vernon, who only joined the board last October, and Christopher Berry of Mayberry Investments.

They were replaced immediately by former banker Rex James as independent director, and Charmaine Boyd-Walker and Johann Heaven, who are executives of Proven. The other directors of the seven-member board include Christopher Williams, who joined the board in December as Proven Investments' appointee, businessman Peter McConnell, CEO Marcus James, and his father Neville James.

The board is yet to vote on a new chairman.

Access also has a new company secretary. Proven vice-president Sherri Murray replaced Gary Peart, who resigned the position on January 7. Peart, the CEO of Mayberry Investments, previously resigned his seat on the board at the end of December.
