Post to Post Betting rebrands
Local bookmaker Post-to-Post Betting Limited is rebranding to P2P Betting and Gaming Entertainment and will also increase it slate of services.
The company's sports-betting product will now be referred to as P2P AnyBet, while its slot machine division will be branded P2P AnySlot.
A P2P AnyHorse feature will also be added to accommodate its local and international horse racing operation.
Chief Executive Officer Sandra Donaldson said the rebranding aims to create consistency across all brands following the merger of Champion Gaming, Markham Betting and Track Price Plus to form Post to Post some two years ago, as well as to tap new customers.
The companies merged in a bid to cut spiralling administrative costs and diversify outside of local and overseas racing.
While the three brands were retained, ownership was vested in Post to Post.
Post to Post currently has over 150 locations across Jamaica, down from the 188 betting shops held by the three at the 2013 merger.
The rebranding, which started this month, is to span three months. Wednesday Business was however unable to ascertain the level of investment being placed in the venture by the company.
"Our customers can look forward to even more products being introduced as we look to broaden our customer base and keep our current customers engaged," Donaldson said, but gave no indication on what the new offerings would be.
