Eppley to raise additional capital

Eppley Limited has hired Mayberry Investments Limited as investment advisers, a precursor to raising additional capital.

Eppley shareholders voted to raise the company’s authorised share capital from 800,000 ordinary shares to 1.3 million units last Tuesday to prepare for the fundraising.

“Since listing the company in 2013, Eppley has delivered consistent returns to shareholders and has grown significantly. Increasing our authorised share capital gives us the ability to increase our capital base and fund the continued expansion of our business. These options include a rights issue,” said Nigel Clarke, Chairman of Eppley, in a statement.

Eppley says it is still weighing the options for its next fundraising drive.
