Ericsson was previously hired by Cable & Wireless Communications, which sold out to Liberty in a deal concluded this year.

Liberty is merging the operations of CWC into its LiLAC Group.

The companies announced a new three-year contract to provide world-class managed services for FLOW mobile networks in the northern Caribbean. It will cover field services and operations centre to monitor 12 markets, including Jamaica.

The terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

The other 11 markets covered under the agreement are Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts-Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and Turks & Caicos Islands.
