The Scotchies chain of restaurants owned by Charles Rerrie is to open a third outlet on the grounds of the Constant Spring Golf Club in Kingston early in 2018.

A company representative said the jerk restaurant will do a soft opening for its new and "only" restaurant in the capital city.

"We're keeping a low profile," the person said, while declining to state the investment associated with the new venture.

Other Scotchies restaurants are located in Drax Hall, St Ann and near to the Rose Hall area of Montego Bay.

The eatery serves jerk meats and fish with fried festivals, as well as other popular side orders such as breadfruit, yam, and sweet potatoes.
