Financial analyst, Dennis Chung will be leaving his post as CEO of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) to join Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) as Chief Financial Officer, effective February 1, 2018.

Chung, a chartered accountant, told Gleaner Business that while he will stay on at the PSOJ for a little while longer, the organization is not in any hurry to fill the vacancy.

“We’re looking for someone and we want to choose a person with the requisite skill sets," he said.

“In a worse case scenario, if the PSOJ has to do without a CEO for a month it will be fine. We want someone with the right fit that has a public persona and can interface with the media and operate at various levels,” Chung said.

In moving to SVL Chung fills the position vacated by former interim president and CEO, James “Danny” Morrison who retired in October.
