Stocks Round Up | JSE Combined Index dips

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index declined on Monday with an advance/decline ratio of 34/32.

The index closed at 489,500.81 points or nearly one per cent lower shaving off 4,201 point.

The Main Index declined by 4,321.20 points ( 0.86 per cent) to close at 496,142.13, while the JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 4,579.73 points (0.83 per cent) to close at 544,934.33.

And the JSE Select Index declined by 179.80 points ( 1.41 per cent) to close at 12,601.19 with the  JSE Cross Listed Index declined by 7.16 points ( 7.07 per cent) to close at 94.17.

Further, the Junior Market Index declined by 21.10 points ( 0.68 per cent) to close at 3,066.67 and the JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 3.43 points ( 1.49 per cent) to close at 233.91.

The JSE Financial Index declined by 2.26 points ( 1.67 per cent) to close at 133.39 and the JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index advanced by 0.35 points ( 0.37 per cent) to close at 94.93.

Winners

Medical Disposables & Supplies up 12 per cent to $7.50.
138 Student Living up 8.5 per cent to at $4.85
RJR up 6.96 per cent to $1.70
Supreme Ventures Limited up 4.9 per cent to $22.99
Main Event Entertainment Group gained 4.3 per cent to $6.00

Losers

Kpreit declined 13.4 per cent to $6.49.
Stanley Motta Limited down 10.9 per cent to 10.9 per cent to $5.00
Caribbean Property Funds Limited down 10.2  per cent $37.12
Ciboney down 8.3 per cent to $0.11
Sagicor Group Jamaica down 5.1 per cent to $77.

Market volume

Market volume amounted to 31,607,995 units valued at over $99.5 million.

Wigton Windfarm was the volume leader with 12,415,358 units (39.28 per cent) followed by Sagicor Select Funds-Financial with 7,442,633 units (23.55 per cent) and Sagicor Select Funds-Manufacturing and Distribution with 5,674,151 units (17.95 per cent).
