"THE EVIL that men doeth, lives after them and at times even while they are still alive”.

That’s what Trinidad’s National Security Minister, Gary Griffith, had to say following the barring of Muslimeen leader Yasin Abu Bakr from Jamaica last week.

The line was contained in a 12 paragraph statement issued yesterday by Griffith titled “Abu Bakr needs to face reality: don’t blame Trinidad and Tobago for your past actions”.

Trinidad’s Security Minister also said Jamaica’s decision to bar Abu Bakr should be applauded as national security takes precedence over everything else.

In response yesterday, the country’s Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said she endorsed Griffith’s comments.
