Five killed as vehicle plunges over precipice in Dominica

The precipice in Dominica where a car plunged, killing five people on Sunday, August 6.

ROSEAU, Dominica, CMC – Five people were killed when a car plunged down a precipice and into the sea to the north of the capital early Sunday.

The police report that the incident took place along the road between the villages of Pennville and Vielle Case.

So far one body has been recovered and the Coast Guard has been helping in the search and recovery exercise.

The authorities have not yet released the names of the deceased.
