MIAMI (AP):
A hurricane watch has gone into effect for several Caribbean countries already battered by Hurricane Irma as Hurricane Jose strengthens to a Category 4 and moved closer towards the Leeward Islands on Friday.

With Irma leaving a trail of death and destruction in its passage earlier this week through the chain of islands, residents in Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Sint Maarten and St Martin, were now bracing for the passage of Hurricane Jose with maximum sustained winds of 120 miles per hour (mph).
