Published:Friday | August 29, 2014 | 12:00 AM

This year's search for the Pulse Million Dollar Girl continues at the Sunken Gardens, Hope Gardens, St Andrew, at 7 p.m. on Sunday. The winner will come from the Fashion Model contestants. These are the girls approaching the 5'10" international model height.

The criteria is overall look, which is most important; height (5' 8" and over); slim to medium build; personality and the 'X' factor - something special, unique and indefinable that makes a model exceptional and demonstrates star quality.

The winner of the Pulse Million Dollar Model Search will receive more than $1 million in cash and prizes. On Sunday, the top 20 contestants will be selected in the Fashion Category to participate in the TV reality show, which is the second phase of the Million Dollar Search.

The ultimate winner of the reality show will win the $1 million prize.

Winners will be selected on Sunday for Petite, Male Face and Full Figure competitions. These winners will receive modelling contracts ranging from $100,000 to $200,000 over two years.

Francine James, 17 years old, won last year's search. She has just finished high school and is about to enter the international market where she will be represented by Pulse and Next worldwide. She starts in Paris in October.

So far, her major job was the cover of Suitcase magazine, a British travel publication, which she shot while still a student at Camperdown.
