Jamaica's musical maestro Richie Stephens has been added to the exciting line-up of the upcoming Soul In The Sun Music Festival slated for October 10-12 at the Aqueduct in Montego Bay. The Live Your Life singer recently returned from a series of shows in Canada and guarantees his fans an amazing performance, as he looks forward to skilfully delivering his catalogue of hits.

Junior Taylor, organiser of the event, believes Stephens, who is Jamaica's 'Golden Voice', is an excellent addition to the line-up of Soul. "Richie Stephens is a classic performer who has contributed much to the development of reggae music over the years. He is also a household name and patrons will enjoy his show."

Over the past decade, Stephens, born Richard Stephenson, has amassed a hit list which includes Joy, By Your Side, Weakness for Sweetness, Legacy featuring Cobra, Fight Back featuring Garnet Silk, Winner, Pull Up, Maniac featuring Bounty Killer, Father I Love You and Take Me Away, to name a few. Stephens now owns his own Record Label, Pot of Gold Record, and has

recorded and released 11 albums.

Also appearing on stage are the soulful Peabo Bryson, Keith Sweat, Johnny Gill, Jeffrey Osbourne, Freddie Jackson, Howard Hewett, Regina Belle, and '90s groups Silk and Dru Hill.

The two-day festival will feature these top international R&B and soul acts performing on Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, before closing with a beach party on Sunday, October 12 at the Seawind Beach Club. The brainchild of Junior Taylor, who brings vast experience to the festival's production, Soul In The Sun promises to be a memorable showcase. Sponsors for the event include The Jamaica Tourist Board and Ocean Spray.
