Bourbon Beach Jamaica, located on Norman Manley Boulevard, Negril, Westmoreland, has since August 1, 2014, come under new management. Its new directors, Attilio and Nathalie Miriello, and Ellena Anelli, alongside Bourbon's entertainment and production managers, Darien Dominguez and Alikieta Stewart, are now planning to take Bourbon Beach Jamaica's entertainment experience, up a few notches.

Plans are being put in place to have a more intensive, and potent line-up of live reggae events and parties for the 2014/2015 winter tourist season, when hundreds of visitors are expected to descend on the famous seven mile Negril hip strip. Bourbon Beach is well noted for its quality live reggae productions, and has brought local and international reggae stars like Chronixx, Jah Cure, Third World, Chuck Fenda, Lutan Fire, and Teflon, to name a few.

Bourbon's new directors, have always sought to invest in the tourism product of Jamaica, as they have all acknowledged that tourism is vital to the economic development of Jamaica and its people. As such, they also own and operate the Pure Gardens Resort, also located on Norman Manley Boulevard in Negril, which provides well needed employment over 40 locals, between both properties. Mr Miriello, is also the director and distributor of the popular Canada-based Skunk Magazine, which highlights the culture and lifestyle associated with marijuana.

EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE

"We love Jamaica, and what it has to offer, in relation to its culture, including, its music, natural resources and its people. We endeavour to bring all these aspects of the Jamaican culture, into an exclusive and awesome experience for our patrons and guests at both Bourbon Beach and Pure Gardens," Mr Miriello said.

Bourbon Beach currently host events that attract hundreds of patrons each day, such as Bourbon Jammin, held every Monday, as well as Wednesday's Electro Bond (lights vs music) house party. Thursdays and Saturdays will find the venue engulfed in live music along with special international and local guest disc jockeys. The entertainment team also mentioned a few major events to take place during the upcoming 2014/2015 tourist season, to include international acts, the details of which will be released soon.
