Known for bringing high-level sophistication to the Montego Bay social scene, Reevive Beach Fiesta again lived up to its reputation on Saturday night with an exquisite party at Aqueduct Beach in Rose Hall, St James.

Coppershot disco, along

with DJs Crazy Neil and Pinchaz, provided the night's entertainment, which created an electrifying atmosphere inside the venue, from start to finish.

The DJs celebrated music from the '90s and early 2000, with seamless transitions between dancehall, hip hop and R&B. Dance songs featuring local artistes Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man and Mr Vegas were especially well received by patrons, who took the opportunity to bring back beloved dance moves such as 'Pon Di River' and 'Tek Weh Yuhself'.

A1 Lover, a '90's hit done by veteran artiste Spragga Benz, was especially pleasing to the females, as they gyrated their bodies to every line. Not even the event's staff could avoid the musical selections of the DJs. Many of them were seen rocking throughout the night, with a few sanitation workers even temporarily abandoning their duties to enjoy the pulsating music.

In fact, the food and drink-inclusive party was flawless in every aspect. The venue was adorned in a chic red-and-white decor, featuring VIP tents, with cocktail tables and cushions neatly laid out on the perfectly manicured lawns of the Aqueduct. The scenery was further complemented by a display of high-end cars, courtesy of ATL Motors Limited.

DIFFERENT

"We wanted to be different in MoBay," said Helen Tyson, one of the organisers. "We want to have our patrons escape the ordinary and join the exclusive Ö . MoBay needed that kind of flavour, and for the past nine years we have been delivering a variety of experiences that Montegonians have come to [expect]."

The gorgeous decor complemented fashionable guests, especially the females, who seemingly went all out to show off their beautiful assets, wearing mostly see-through clothing.

As guests danced and fraternised, they also took time out to enjoy the delicious offerings of the buffet station, which contained a wide assortment of gourmet dishes, including various pastas, fish, chicken and ribs. An open bar and a thatched booth provided a variety of refreshments.

Main organiser Conrod Allen is already looking forward to next year's staging, which he vows will be even better.

"We have changed the game in MoBay and I'm very pleased with tonight's turnout of patrons Ö . I can promise that next year will be even better and, of course, we couldn't do this without our sponsors such as ATL, CPJ and others, who have partnered with us to make this into the success that it is," he said.

Other sponsors of the event included Pure Country Juices, Triple Glar Lighting, Di Foto Shoppe, Craven 'A', CÓroc Vodka and Cover Me Up Tents and Events Rental.
