Miss Jamaica World 2014 Model Regina Harding was second runner-up in the Miss Caraibes Hibiscus International pageant over the weekend.

The 24th annual Miss Caraibes Hibiscus pageant was held at Casino Royale in St Maarten, and saw girls from all over the Caribbean, North America and some South American countries, seeking to persuade the judges that they had what it takes to be this year's Miss Caraibes Hibiscus Crown.

Harding represented the nation well. She walked away with the award of Miss Amity, wearing an evening gown from Uzuri International that won the Best Evening Gown Award. She was officially placed second runner-up. Miss Colombia, Maria Lopez, was crowned the winner and Miss Mexico, Karla Hernandez, was first runner-up.

Harding is very proud as this marks Jamaica's highest placing since Rachel Stuart - Miss Jamaica Universe 1993 and a former BET host - won the crown.
