Stone Love Sound System on Saturday celebrated 42 years of greatness in fine style at the Red Stripe Oval. With backing sponsorship from Guinness, the event was one for the books.

Loyal Stone Love fans turned out in their numbers in celebration mode, as it was a treat. Pumping music came from DJ Smurf, Metro Media and Boom Boom, up until 1 a.m., when the mighty Stone Love Sound took the stage. The iconic sound system delivered stellar sets until after 2 a.m., which was well received.

According to Guinness brand manager, Racquel Nevins, "We are happy with the success of this event. Stone Love is one of the most reputable and talented sound systems in Jamaica, and they have added a different dimension to our music. This annual event shows Jamaica's strong roots in the sound-system culture, so this was a must for us."

Many guest artistes stopped by to show their support, including George Nooks, LUST, KipRich, Aidonia, Gage, Kalado, Alozade and many others. The 'Legendary' Beenie Man and Bounty Killer, who also came out in support, closed the show in the wee hours of the morning.
