Live Pay Per View HD for Rebel Salute 2015
Telecommunications company Columbus Communications Jamaica, CCJL, operator of Flow, is going all out for its first time sponsoring Jamaica's premier reggae music festival, Rebel Salute.
Flow, which is Jamaica's only triple-play platform communications company, will be using its products to drive the 22nd staging of Rebel Salute.
"For the first time this year, Rebel Salute will be available, in live pay per view HD format to people in the Caribbean. We will also be offering the highest mobile connection speeds so persons can send their videos and pictures from the event and post them on social media," said Gail Abrahams, director of corporate communications at Flow.
Patrons attending the show will have free WiFi at their disposal, with a true Rebel Salute experience based on the line-up of performers.
Headline acts include Alborosie, Sizzla, Capleton
and a host of others.
"With veteran acts like Inner Circle, Freddie McGregor and young stars Etana and Jesse Royal, Flow had to be part of this year's event," said Abrahams.
Flow and Organic HEART Group of Companies, promoters of Rebel Salute, inked the deal in December for Flow to be the exclusive telecommunications provider of the two-day reggae music festival.
According to Mrs Abrahams, the country's brand jumped at the opportunity to be associated with this authentic reggae
"It's an association we are proud of. Rebel Salute is a concert that highlights Jamaican culture and heritage, and as a family and lifestyle brand, Flow sees this partnership as a
solid investment," said Abrahams.
As part of the build-up to Rebel Salute 2015, the company will be using some of its stores across the island to stage
with artistes who will perform on the show.
"We want to ensure that our customers and Jamaicans in general, get a close-up feel with the artistes. We will use our facilities to make that possible," said Abrahams.
Rebel Salute will be staged at Richmond Estate in St Ann, on January 16 and 17.
