With one full day remaining before Rebel Salute 2015 begins at Grizzly's Plantation Cove, Priory, St Ann on Friday evening, presold ticket outlets are located in Kingston, Ocho Rios, Mandeville, Montego Bay and Savanna-la-mar.

The outlets are Mi Hungry Whol'-Some Food in Kingston; Fontana Pharmacy in Kingston, Ocho Rios, Mandeville, Montego Bay and Savanna-la-mar, Shazz Service Station; and the Total Service Station at Dunrobin in Kingston.

However, there is also an online purchasing option, through, which will be open not only ahead of the festival, but even after the action onstage begins.

It is not the first time that Michael 'Mike Marsh' Campbell, who operates Yardticket, has collaborated with Rebel Salute. However, after tickets went on sale online with an early bird offer on October 1, 2014, he said the response "was overwhelming. We got sales from as far as Germany and we saw a good response in the Caribbean".

Caribbean embrace

The first purchase was actually made from Guyana, with a number of Trinidadian purchases after that.

"We are grateful for the Caribbean embracing a local-based product, to buy tickets online," Campbell said.

Campbell reports purchases from Japan, Holland, South Africa, Costa Rica and Brazil, among other countries, with the majority of online purchase action coming from North America and Europe. So far, Jamaica has returned "small numbers" of Rebel Salute purchases on, However, Campbell said "over time, we have seen that Jamaicans wait until the last minute to buy, we expect that on the day or a day before there will be purchases".

Those who purchase Rebel Salute tickets through Yardticket will pick up the ticket at the venue at a window dedicated to the process. "Persons can look for the branded window or our standing banner, which will be at the window as well," Campbell said.

"We ask them to bring a printout of their e-receipt, or they can use their mobile phone and launch the e-mail so we can see the order number. They should bring the ID used when they were making the purchase online," Campbell said, emphasising that the identification process is used "to protect ourselves, the customer and the event."

On Friday Rebel Salute features Bugle, Capleton, Etana, Iba Mahr, Tarrus Riley, Third World, Israel Vibrations, Jesse Royal, Nature, Kabaka Pyramid, I-Wayne and many more. Saturday's line-up includes Sizzla, Cocoa Tea, Queen Ifrica, Raging Fyah, Freddie McGregor and Inner Circle.
