Easter Weekend Comes Alive With Smirnoff

It will be pure excitement this Easter as Smirnoff turns up the heat with an amazing line-up of thrilling events.

Nasha Douglas, brand manager, Smirnoff, says consumers can expect amazing times this weekend, as the brand continues to infuse its originality and unique flavour on all its activities.

Things kick off this Friday when the brand will begin its trek to the north coast to share with its consumers in the Smirnoff Cocktail Friday Bar Hop. The three locations that will be participating are Oceans 11, Mongoose Bar and Restaurant, and Ocho Rios Jerk Centre. There will be lots of exciting giveaways, including tickets for Smirnoff Beach J'Ouvert and Smirnoff St Ann Carnival.

On Saturday, April 4, Frenchmen invades Groovy Beach, Ocho Rios with their Rise-up Breakfast Beach Party which starts at 4:30 a.m. 'Keep Walking' with Johnnie Walker and Smirnoff as they will be bringing an experience not to be missed. You never know what to expect at Frenchmen Rise-up, from celebrity sightings to special guest appearances and performances, anything is possible at this fÍte.

Smirnoff Beach J'Ouvert follows at 1 p.m., at James Bond Beach - Oracabessa, St Mary, and it promises to be "more paint, more fÍte, more Carnival". Kes the Band will be returning to top last year's performance, bringing high levels of energy. They will be the featured performers along with Walshy Fire of Major Laser. Nuphoric out of Trinidad, along with Jamaica's very own DJ Smoke and DJ Richie Ras, will provide music.

To top off the Saturday night is Aidonia's birthday party at Margaritaville. Smirnoff will be ensuring that patrons have an experience of a lifetime. Not only will they be guaranteed good music, but they will also be guaranteed some of the best products in the Smirnoff line along with a variety of Smirnoff mixes.

Carnival will be starting a week early for some as St Ann comes alive today with Smirnoff St Ann Carnival, and the vodka brand will be out on the road ensuring that the event will be as festive as possible. This is set to take place at Fantasy Beach in Priory, St Ann, starting at 6 p.m. The queen of carnival, Alison Hinds, will be there in living colour to bring the roof down.
