Drink Right Campaign in full effect this Easter Weekend

Drink Right is a driving force behind the distributed brands of Red Stripe. It promotes responsible drinking at the right age and in the right amounts. Since the inception of the campaign in 2013, the brands underneath the Red Stripe umbrella have been making strides to encourage this practice. Now in the middle of carnival season, the Drink Right campaign was and continues to be in full effect. The 'Drink Right Taxi' campaign was developed for Bacchanal Fridays, where a winner was chosen each week to get a free taxi ride home at the end of the event.

Due to the huge success and positive feedback from the Drink Right Taxi campaign, Red Stripe will be executing it over this Easter weekend at two main events set to take place: Smirnoff Beach J'ouvert today and Canboulay Breakfast Party on Monday. These are two highly anticipated events and the response to the campaign for them has been incredible.

"Drink Right will be continuing this offer for the rest of the soca season. The next will be Beach J'ouvert and Canboulay Breakfast Party and will see a fleet of shuttles offering complimentary rides to and from Kingston as follows: Beach J'ouvert - departing 1 p.m., returning at 10 p.m.; Canboulay - departing 4 a.m., returning at 11:30 a.m.," said Nanda Dukharan, brand PR manager at Red Stripe.

The process is very simple, all patrons will need to do is to visit the page and pledge to Drink Right or visit the Drink Right Instagram page for more details.

All events with which Red Stripe brands are associated require that patrons take along a valid ID to ensure they are over the age of 18 years. The Drink Right campaign enforces the legal age to drink at all sponsored events and encourages patrons to drink the right amount while doing so responsibly.
