Top keyboardists for Jazz in the Gardens

Following on the heels of the successful return of the 'Jazz in the Gardens' concert series at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, the second concert for 2015, titled 'Ivories in Konversation', is set to take place on Sunday, May 3 at 6 p.m.

The salubrious and intimate garden setting of Kingston's ritzy hotel will see a host of Jamaica's top-class musicians showcasing their expertise on the keyboards. Among the A-list of performers are, Ozou'ne, Jon Williams, Andre Campbell, Robbie Lyn and Othniel 'Ottey' Lewis. Special guest Dwight Richards will no doubt excite the audience on trumpet and vocals, with Desi Jones and Friends as the backing band. The concert is endorsed by Kool 97 FM, with associate sponsorship provided by Clear Sound Production Services, Power 106/ Music 99, The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, MC Decor Rental and Supplies, and OJay's Premium.

The Jamaica Pegasus gardens has been the home of this popular event for over 14 years and has featured many world-class local and international performers from the USA, Canada, St Lucia, Trinidad, Guyana, and South Africa. Among them are Barbara Walker, Rosemary Phillips, Courtney Fadlin, Lorraine Klassen, Sherita Hunt, Daren Shepherd, Ernie Ranglin, Dr Kathy Brown, Dean Fraser, Desi Jones, The Butler Brothers, A.J. Brown, and much more.

"The response to the return of Jazz in the Gardens has been overwhelming and we are delighted to be filling the void that was in the entertainment circuit when the show went on recess. We promise to make each concert in the series even bigger and better, as we showcase the unique musical talents of our extraordinary musicians," said Nancy McLean, who along with Cathy NuÒez, are executive producers of the show.

According to McLean, Jazz in the Gardens is a total experience, which offers a combination of great music, and an alluring ambiance that the entire family can enjoy. As an added bonus, patrons will continue to enjoy sumptuous hors d'oeuvres and refreshing juices courtesy of OJay's Premium, included in the cost of their tickets.

Tickets for 'Jazz in the Gardens - A Feast for the Senses' cost $2,500 presold and $3,000 at the gate.

Presold tickets will be available at the Supermed Mall Pharmacy, Mall Plaza and at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, between May 1 to 3. Part proceeds from the event will go to the Best Care Foundation and the Elsie Bemard Girls Home.
