Saint International's supermodels Tami Williams and Kai Newman promise much sass with their runway appearances at this year's staging of StyleWeek Jamaica, which is set to unfold May 20-24 in Kingston.

The two superstars (and agency Saint International) had much to celebrate with their March appearance in the world's most prestigious fashion publication - American Vogue. The historic achievement was an enviable milestone for the duo's Jamaican agency, Saint International. The girls were selected by the Vogue team for a special editorial, featuring the six top black models of the moment. Williams was featured twice in that issue, and then created a global frenzy with an only-girl story in the April issue of American Vogue. This meant that Williams was the only model in a multi-page editorial. This was groundbreaking and historical for the Jamaican teen star.

Having conquered the international runways in fashion's most glamorous capitals of New York, London, Milan, and Paris, the girls have captivated the most powerful fashion editors, stylists, designers, show producers, and casting directors. They have appeared for every big name worth noting, including Calvin Klein, Pucci, Gucci, Valentino, Jil Sander, Marc Jacobs, Giles Deacon, Rodarte, and Tommy Hilfiger.

Saint, with its StyleWeek platform, will continue to lead in positioning Jamaican premier designers to the world of retail and e-tail. Leveraging the success and access of its top models, will be a core strategy to get the eyes of the highly selective fashion-insiders on the Jamaican runways. This is similar to the Brazilian fashion industry model.

"Saint International has always been vanguards of Jamaica's high-style culture. The last five years have solidified the agency's global profile as such," says Saint CEO and creator of StyleWeek Jamaica, Deiwght Peters.

This year, StyleWeek Jamaica is the first premium event on the schedule of the Ministry of Tourism's entertainment package initiative dubbed Jamrock Summer - 90days, 90ways.
