Fantasy is Snoop's reality
Snoop Dogg watches Game of Thrones for "historic reasons".
The 43-year-old hip-hop icon has revealed himself to be a huge fan of the HBO fantasy drama, which features giant dragons and magic, but he mistakenly thinks the show is historically accurate.
He said: "I watch it for historic reasons, to try to understand what this world was based on before I got here. I like to know how we got from there to here and the similarities between then and now."
The rapper was recently asked to produce music for the series five mixtape of the show and said it was a pleasure to be approached.
Snoop told the New York Post newspaper: "When they asked me to do the track, I was more than honoured, because I'm truly a fan of the show.
"I would have done it for free, but they gave me some money on top of it."
Snoop claimed recently that he feels like Popeye when he smokes marijuana. The rapper compared the drug to the cans of spinach which the animated character eats to become strong.
Asked whether smoking marijuana is conducive to a productive career, he said, "the weed doesn't take away; it's an attribute, an accolade. It's like Popeye. You know Popeye the Sailor Man? He'd squeeze that can and pop that spinach and go into work mode. That's what this is."
Morgan 'Weedman' an advocate
Morgan Freeman has admitted to using marijuana.
The 77-year-old actor has pledged his support to the movement to legalise the drug in the United States, and revealed he is a long-time user of marijuana.
He shared: "They used to say, 'you smoke that stuff, boy, you get hooked!'."
"My first wife got me into it many years ago. How do I take it? However it comes! I'll eat it, drink it, smoke it, snort it!"
What's more, the Shawshank Redemption star noted marijuana can serve a number of functions, such as easing physical pain. In particular, Morgan said he uses it to help combat fibromyalgia, a condition that causes pain all over the body.
He told the Daily Beast: "I have fibromyalgia pain in [my] arm, and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana. They're talking about kids who have seizures, and they've discovered that marijuana eases that down to where these children can have a life."
"That right there, to me, says, 'Legalise it across the board!'"
Morgan also claimed that marijuana is much safer than alcohol. He said: "Now, the thrust is understanding that alcohol has no real medicinal use. Maybe if you have one drink, it'll quiet you down, but two or three and you're f....d'."
Public break-up hard on Derulo
Jason Derulo found it hard "having a break-up in the limelight".
The 25-year-old singer, who dated fellow musician Jordin Sparks for three years before they split late last year, has revealed he never found it tough dating someone so famous until it came to ending the relationship.
He told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Jordin Sparks was exactly what I needed at one point in my life. But that's not the case any more. So you live and you learn, and you move on and be thankful for the time you shared. We dated for three years, but don't stay in touch."
"It's not hard having a relationship in the limelight so much as it's hard having a break-up in the limelight. It just goes on and on because people keep talking about it," Derulo said.
