The grand final of the Jamaica Children's Gospel Song Competition is set for this Sunday at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, 36 Hope Road, starting at 6:30 p.m.

This annual event, organised by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission, an agency of the Ministry of Youth and Culture, will close Child Month.

The final will feature 24 finalists, including choirs, ensembles and soloists in the six-10-year-olds and 11-15-year-old categories, representing various communities, schools, and churches, across the island.

The performers will be marked for musicianship, arrangement, performance, and interpretation. The top two winners in each category will be awarded trophies, cash prizes, and gift packages.

There will be a special performance by gospel powerhouse Sister Patt.
