Kingston nightclub Fiction Fantasy plans weekend anniversary celebration

Kingston nightclub Fiction Fantasy will celebrate its one year anniversary this weekend.

The club, located at Marketplace on Constant Spring Road, is owned and operated by the David Annakie-led Linkup Media Group of Companies.

Annakie purchased 60 per cent of the entity from the KLE Group in the first quarter of 2014.

He went on to buy the remaining 40 per cent in the last quarter of the year.

Annakie says it has been a good year for the club and has plans in place for it to do even better.

"Fiction Fantasy has been doing well and we intend to do even better, its been a good year. We are very keen on cementing Fiction Fantasy as the best cosmopolitan nightclub experience in Jamaica and the Caribbean. Further yet, our continued efforts to attract local and international music and sports celebrities to our club is quickly positioning us as such," Annakie said.

The club has hosted party goers from home and abroad.

International celebrities including Busta Rhymes, Trey Songz,  Ashanti and Tyson Beckford have made the venue their party spot while in Jamaica.

Celebration activities will kick off with a pre-anniversary party on Friday with Major Hype, Kevin Crown and DJ Nicco headlining.

On Saturday, a VIP Black Card party will kick off at 9 p.m. ending at midnight, regular clubbing follows.
