Meet the Top Six

Dana Hinds

Kingstonian Dana Hinds stands 5' 9" tall. A graduate of Clan Carthy High in Vineyard Town, she is currently a sales assistant at the Twenty Twenty Collection boutique. Dana is a party girl. She loves to laugh and to eat, the latter, of course, being challenging for a model.

Competing in the challenges has been her favourite experience since she enlisted for the Caribbean Model Search (CMS). For her, the underwater challenge was the best. Dana ultimately wants to become a successful international model or an entrepreneur. Her favourite Pulse supermodel is Carla Campbell.

Crissel Pike

Sixteen year-old Crissel Pike is 5' 8.5" tall. A St Andrew native, Crissel lists Jaunel McKenzie as her favourite Pulse model. Crissel thinks her personality is the most interesting thing about her and believes that she is different from the average teenager.

She loves to read and John Lewis is her favourite author. At school, she regularly wins reading competitions and numeracy challenges. A real talent, she writes stories, sings and dances. The jovial teenager declares that she does not believe in failure. "I finally feel like I belong somewhere. I am at Pulse because I love to model and it's something I always wanted to do," says the aspiring supermodel.

Assania Cardoza

"Funny" and "trustworthy" is how 20-year-old Assania Cardoza describes herself. Standing 5'9" tall, this native of Kingston, Jamaica, loves to play netball. Her ultimate ambition is to be a successful international model. Her favourite Pulse model is Jeneil Williams.

Assania is employed at the Kingston Public Hospital and notes that she loves to sleep and hates coffee.

"I want people to know that I am a compassionate person," she said. Her best friends in the competition are Alicia Burke and Dana Hinds. Further, Assania says "I am here to win".

Alicia Burke

Twenty-year-old Alicia Burke entered the Pulse Million Dollar Girl Search to win and pursue her dream of becoming a model. Standing 5'9.5" tall, Alicia is from Bullet Tree district in Old Harbour, St Catherine. Alicia is an accounts receivable and inventory clerk and lists Pulse's multiple Vogue covergirl and current L'Oreal global campaign star Jeneil Williams as her favourite Pulse model.

Alicia is proud of her five CXC subjects and thinks that walking the Pulse runway has been her greatest achievement to date. A reader of many books, Alicia wants folks to know that, although she may be shy, she is determined to succeed.

Amoy Simpson

This 15-year-old student of Old Harbour High School is from Old Harbour Bay and stands 5'10" tall. Her favourite Pulse model is Nell Robinson, who she finds inspirational. Amoy loves to listen to music and hang out with friends.

She enjoys meeting new people and practising her runway walk. Amoy also loves sports and plays on a winning basketball team. She is a very confident young lady who is excited about her prospects and the opportunities in CMS TV show, and wants to show the world just what she can do.

Amoy has a passion for modelling and hopes to become an international star.

Remonia Morrison

This 23-year-old graduate of the University of Albany, New York, in actuarial and mathematical science stands at 5'8". Originally from Portmore, St Catherine, she lives in New York. Her favourite Pulse model is Jeneil Williams.

Remonia says, "The most interesting thing about me would be how animated I am when it comes to telling a story or just the way I react to things. I am also very creative/artistic, I always seem to find a way to put things together that create something cool."

A track star for about 15 years, Morrison has won several gold medals in the 400 metres but says her ultimate sport is netball. She loves modelling and wants to have a successful international career.
