It has been an intense three weeks of sound clashes in the Guinness Sounds of Greatness competition. Most of the sound systems have shown that it is more than just a competition to them, doing their research, practising and putting the most into each staging. The competition has already been to St Mary, St Elizabeth and St Ann. Now the Sounds of Greatness train is rolling into the Red Stripe Oval for the fourth staging on Friday, September 25.

No Limit, Little Richie, SK International and Redd Heat are the sounds that will face off. For each installment, each sound faces off with the other. The judges rate them based on certain pre-set criteria, and based on their scores, sounds are selected to move on to further rounds.

"The competition is heating up and the support has been overwhelming as it continues to grow each week. It shows that Guinness has always and will continue to have a place in the hearts of the communities. We can't wait to see what the next set of sound systems brings to entertain and excite," said Camille Moore, assistant brand manager of Guinness.

So far, the four winners who have qualified for a spot in the next round are Teflon, Shadrock and Pink Panther. Badda Bling from Di Unit continues to host the competition, while Tony Matterhorn and Mikey Bennett remain the resident judges.

Come out on September 25 to show support for your favourite sound system as you enjoy and have a good time with Guinness, Made of More. Remember to drink and party responsibly. Gates open at 6 p.m.; show time is 9 p.m. The event goes up until 2 a.m.
