Coca-Cola to host free teen experience party
Coca-Cola will be hosting a free Share A Coke Teen Experience Party at the Barbican Beach and Football Field, featuring performances by Tifa, Ding Dong and up-and-coming new artiste Vershon, as the final installment of the Share A Coke with Jamaica Campaign.
Coca-Cola will be transforming the Barbican Beach and Football Field into the ultimate hang-out spot for teens between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., this Saturday, with fun activities including a teen 'nightclub', paintball target shooting, instant photo booth, a virtual lounge and mechanical bull. Teens from all over the island are being invited to spend the day with the Coca-Cola team and win cool Coca-Cola prizes. Participants will also have the opportunity to have their names personalised on a bottle of Coca-Cola at the Share A Coke personalization kiosk that will be on-site. The event will end with a free concert with dancehall artistes Tifa, Vershon and Ding Dong.
In order to participate on the day, consumers simply have to present two 20-oz Share A Coke labels to participating Total gas stations to redeem their free ticket to the Share A Coke Teen Experience Party.
Ultimate event for teens
"This party is gearing up to be the ultimate event for teens from across the island, where the magic of the Share a Coke campaign will be experienced. Barbican Beach and Football Field will be transformed into a Coca-Cola teen hang-out spot, the perfect place to share a Coke and open happiness with friends," said Michaela Francis, brand marketing manager, Coca-Cola.
The worldwide Share a Coke Campaign was launched in Jamaica in August, and everyone has been invited to share moments of happiness when they purchase 355ml or 20-oz bottles of Coca-Cola. For the first time in history, Coca-Cola replaced its iconic brand logo with 200 of the most popular Jamaican first names to make a unique and memorable experience through the act of giving.
