Gospel artiste Jermaine Edwards is scheduled to be in Mandeville this coming Saturday, January 2, for Magnify Him 2016.

The event, held on the first Saturday in January each year, will be staged at the Kendal Camp and Conference Centre in Manchester. Magnify Him is an annual production which was conceptualised by Holiness Born Again Church in Heartease, Mandeville, with its first production in 1991, just over 25 years ago.

According to its founder and producer, Anthony Morris, the celebration started out at the church, with the main objective of being a choir presentation for the Heartease assembly. Magnify Him is no longer just a choir presentation, but has taken on a larger, more inclusive and expansive role to incorporate a wider cross section of participants.

Known for its rich musical component and great worship, Magnify Him has become one of the most popular gospel music events in central Jamaica. It's the place where the entire family and the community get together to thank God for the year that has passed and praise him in expectation for the year ahead.

Jermaine Edwards is set to join the Holiness Born Again Church Choir and others in the massive celebration that is expected to take place.

"We understand that the well sought-after artiste has close connections with Mandeville, where he did his album launch recently. So, Mandeville, its your time again to go out and enjoy Magnify Him," said a representative from the organisers of the event.
