With all that's happening with the economy and crime, the public is being invited to undergo musical therapy with upcoming Montego Bay artiste Michael-David at his concert Michael-David Live in Concert: Journey To Hollywood, on Thursday, January 28, 2016, in aid of his 'Journey to Hollywood' in the World Championships of the Performing Arts.

This musical escape, to be held under the distinguished patronage of the custos rotolorum of St James is set to take place at the Montego Bay Community College, starting at 7 p.m.

Michael-David, whose real name is David Feare, was born in Montego Bay and has had a passion for music all his life, and it is that passion that is driving him towards participating in and potentially winning the July 2016 staging of the World Championships of the Performing Arts, to be held in Hollywood.

"I approach performing like therapy... music in and of itself is therapeutic," the exuberant singer, who is a final year business student at the University of Technology, Jamaica Western Campus, said.

"I want everyone to come out and enjoy an event that promises to be filled with world-class performances," he added.

Also expected to perform are Jamaica's treasure, Karen Smith; recording artiste and opera singer, Rory Frankson; Kingston's 'Prince of Reggae-Soul', Mario Evon; as well as a special appearance by comedian Dutty Berry, among others, including First Dance Studios.

"Expect a lot of energy and expect to be taken on an amazing and emotional roller coaster ride," Michael-David, who calls himself the 'Music Doctor', said.
