Warrior King's new album out in February
Rootz Reggae singer Warrior King is due to release his fifth album entitled ‘Warrior King the Rootz Warrior’ in February.
This is the artiste’s fifth album since ‘Tell Me How Me Sound’, which was released four years ago.
According to the singer, the title for the album represents his constant fight to keep authentic reggae music relevant internationally.
“Rootz Warrior is the title because I am always defending the rootz and rootz music is positive music and uplifting. Without the root, the stem, leaves and branches cannot flourish and adding to that, Rootz Warrior is the name of my company,” he said.
The 14-track album along with bonus records, features collaborations with top producers and artistes both locally and internationally. Among them are, Beres Hammond (that track produced by Colin 'Bulby' York) and a song with Richie Spice (produced by Walboomers Music from The Netherlands).
The Rootz Warrior album will be distributed digitally by Zojak Worldwide and is scheduled for an official release in stores and on iTunes in February.
The album’s release will be just in time for Warrior King’s upcoming stint of shows in the U.S., where he is scheduled to perform in States such as California, Alabama, Missouri, Minnesota, Ohio, Chicago, Pembroke and Bermuda.
Fans of reggae music will also be given a rare opportunity to listen to songs from the exclusive album on February 29, on soundcloud.com @ warriorkingmusic. The official social media preview will be broadcast between 12 a.m., to 11:59 p.m., local time.
Popular tracks featured on the album include, Stand Up Inna the Fyah, Ain’t Giving Up, Your Love is Amazing, Same Source and Moonlight Bright.
