Peter Lloyd and His Love Messengers will perform at the 10th concert in the We Are Reggae unplugged series on Saturday at The Beach Bar, Doctors Cave Beach, Montego Bay. The singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and event promoter will perform, along with Ken Boothe, Karen Smith, and Abby Dallas.

Lloyd's catalogue includes Gold Digga, Ready 4 Luv, Wake Dem Up, Oh My Darling, and Searching. In November 2014, he released Blood On Your Hands, which has accrued over one million views on YouTube.

He has written and produced all of his songs, including two full-length studio albums, Transitions and Stories From I Father's Country. As an actor, Lloyd has the distinction of appearing in Disney's Return to Treasure Island, ABC's Going to Extremes, Passion and Paradise, and The Mighty Quinn. He currently stars as Mathew Robinson in the popular television series The Blackburns of Royal Palm Estate.

Ken Boothe is a living legend who has recorded some of Jamaican popular music's enduring classics such as Puppet On A String, Everything I Own, Crying Over You, Artibella, and many more. Boothe has had 23 full-length studio albums.

Karen Smith has been awarded Jamaica's Order of Distinction OD, officer class, for service in the field of music. Abby Dallas is a new talent who has already made her mark on local radio with He's Just Not

Into You and From My Heart.

"My Apostles of Production partners Patrick Casserly and Orlando Maxwell are extending our usual line-up to present this special one-night festival to celebrate my birthday and also to offer an alternative in the absence of the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival," said Lloyd

Gates open at 8 p.m. and show time is 10 p.m. sharp.
