Digicel will this year be celebrating music legend Bob Marley's birthday with a 48-hour live stream.

The stream, which will start at 12 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, will feature exclusive Bob Marley content, inclusive of the replay of the Redemption Concert, which rocked downtown Kingston in 2015; the 2016 Bob Marley birthday celebrations at the museum; the Marley documentary by Kevin McDonald; as well as interviews and music videos.

Tari Lovell, sponsorship manager at Digicel, said: "Bob Marley's music transcended all geographical, racial, and musical borders, so this year, we wanted to give the world a chance to celebrate his birthday with us. Not only that, but one day just isn't enough to celebrate this man. This 48-hour live stream will give us a chance to share the music and musings of the man the world over."

Forty-eight hours of Bob Marley will be streamed on the Digicel Jamaica YouTube page - www.youtube.com/

DigicelJamaica - and will be available worldwide, inclusive of Digicel's 33 markets.

Digicel and Tuff Gong International have been partners for several years. The partnership gives the telecommunications and entertainment company access to exclusive Bob Marley content and use of his image and music.
