St Ann based reggae/dancehall singer Jimbolee (Phillip Wilmott), will launch his Treasure of Love Island Tour on Saturday night at Mongoose Restaurant, Main Street, Ocho Rios.

The tour, which will include performances across several parishes up until July, is to promote the artiste's single, Treasure of Love, and several others now on the road, and boost his presence locally.

Dancehall DJ, Lybran who is now creating a buzz with, Bad It Up, will be special guest at the launch and at subsequent shows.

Pushing towards goal

"We have to keep pushing towards the goal, which is basically to become a successful artiste locally and internationally," Jimbolee explained, as the reason behind the tour.

"We want music lovers to discover not just the song, Treasure of Love, but the entire catalogue of music that I have to offer," Jimbolee said. "My Life, Bad Mind, Never Give Up and I Wish, are tracks that we are also pushing right now."

Meanwhile, Lybran, whose dance song, Bad It Up, features Queen Latisha, will be performing in Ocho Rios for the first time this year.

"I'm looking forward to performing for the fans in Ochi and other areas during this tour," Lybran admitted. "We want to Bad It Up, in a musical way."

Lybran is also promoting other tracks such as Fimi Life Story and Open Doors.
