Bay-C collab tops German MTV Urban Charts
Less than a year after embarking on rebranding as a solo act Bay-C, formerly of T.O.K, has seen his collaboration Rude Gyal Swing with African pop artiste Treesha hit number one on the German MTV Urban Charts. The Rude Gyal Swing single has spent six weeks on the charts since its release earlier this summer.
The dance party track, produced by Deebuzz and Hard2Def from Germany, is a mix of electronic dance music and dancehall. Bay-C already saw a huge fan base develop for T.O.K over the last two decades in Germany and Europe generally. However, his popularity as a solo artiste grew after a six-week solo European tour promoting his Better Must Come EP, in May of this year.
Treesha had her debut album, Listen, released in May this year. The album featured Don't Do I, I'm a Lion, Tomorrow, Love You Like 123 (feat Skarra Mucci) and We Need Love (feat Denham Smith).
