Tristan und Isolde’s Nina Stemme raises a toast in celebration at The Met.

The Met LIVE in HD performance of Tristan und Isolde celebrates German composer Robert Wagner.

Palace Amusement, in association with the Jamaican-German Society and The Gleaner, celebrate Germany Week with the 100th transmission in The Met: Live in HD series history, featuring Tristan und Isolde by distinguished German composer Robert Wagner to be broadcast Live via satellite at Carib 5 on Saturday, October 8.

Germany Week, uniquely celebrated in Jamaica, runs from October 2 to 8 and brings to Jamaicans the German culture, from film to food.

The Live in HD performance of Tristan und Isolde will boast a beverage bar featuring specialised German wines and beers ahead of their Oktoberfest, which kicks off later that evening.

Palace Amusement is pleased to be teaming with the Jamaican German Society in bringing cultural experiences from around the world to patrons that could only be dreamed of before the implementation and expansion of the company's alternative content offerings. This historic opening broadcast of The Met: Live in HD's new season reprises the performance of Tristan und Isolde at the official opening of the new Met at the Lincoln Centre 50 years ago.
