Known for their scintillating performances at home and abroad, top deejay Big Youth and reggae artiste and actress, Sister Carol, will be the headline acts to kick-start the commencement of the legendary Twelve Tribes of Israel's year of golden jubilee celebrations for 2017.

The first event to mark the occasion takes place on December 31, 2016 at the Twelve Tribes of Israel (TTI) headquarters, 81-83 Hope Road, Kingston 6. It promises to recreate the Jahlovemusik vibe with energetic performances from the two entertainers and others, along with non-stop rhythms provided by the world-famous TTI Sound System with Gary I of Bess FM and the dynamic trio of Tony Blem, Ras Job and Pablo Soul aboard.

Labelled The Jahlovemuzik Experience, and promoted by The Selassie Brothers of the TTI, the December 31 show is designed to transport you culturally and spiritually into a dance environment where persons of diverse backgrounds and ages enjoy themselves as one heartbeat.

Deejay Big Youth (Manley Buchanan), with his trademark antics and powerful lyrical messages, will be sure to electrify the stage as he takes you on a musical journey through the 1970s with hits like S-90 Skank, Hit The Road Jack, Every Nigger Is a Star and Dreader Than Dread. Big Youth at one time had seven singles in the charts with four remaining in the top 20 for almost an entire year.

In a career that has spanned some 35 years, the Black Cinderella deejay and international reggae artiste and actress, Sister Carol, has ruled the roost for five years as the 'best female DJ' after the release of her successful singles, Liberation For Africa and Black Cinderella in 1984.

Special guest, Danny Pepper Seed of Silver Hawk, and Amsterdam, will add an overseas flavour to the event. Gates to the venue open at 6 p.m.
