New releases in iTunes top five

Two of the top-five albums on the current iTunes chart are new releases. Lost in Paradise (Common Kings) is at number one, while My Soul (Samu) is at number four on the listing up to 9:25 am yesterday.

In between, though, are the long staying, legendary pair by Bob Marley and The Wailers Legend (Remastered) is in second position and Legend (Deluxe Edition) is third. Fifth on the iTunes listing is the Billboard Reggae Charts top set, London McNamara's A Dollar Short and a Minute Late.

In sixth position is Set in Stone (Stick Figure), seventh is Falling Into Place (Rebelution), followed by Wash House Ting (J Boog). Bob Marley & The Wailers have another album in the top 10, as Gold is at number nine. The UB40 (featuring Ali, Astro and Mickey) Unplugged set rounds out the top 10.

UB40 is enjoying a purple patch, as Labour of Love is 18th. Buju Banton's Til Shiloh is at NO. 21, while Peter Tosh's Super Hits is in the NO. 24 spot.

Alkaline's New Level Unlocked is the top placed solo dancehall album, at NO. 27, Bugle's new release Be Yourself holds the 30th position. Another new release, the deluxe version of Rasta Nuh Gngsta (produced by Rorystonelove) is NO. 31. Vybz Kartel's King of the Dancehall is NO. 42 and Busy Signal's Fresh From Yaad is 47th.
