Joining in the 2017 Reggae Month celebrations will be a rebranded Jazz in the Gardens event, renamed Jazz 'n Cabaret ... A Feast for the Senses'. The series starts on Sunday, February 26 in the in the gardens of The Jamaica Pegasus, New Kingston.

The producers of the show said the rebranding came about as they observed a trend. According to Youlanda Nunez, "while our patrons enjoy jazz, we find that they also appreciate a wider variety of music from the artistes which we invite to participate in the show. We are here to satisfy our patrons, so we will continue on that musical path."

Among the acts slated to perform are: Maria Myrie; Tanice 'Reggae Soul Child' Morrison, and making her debut on the event, DJe (pronounced Dejay). Guitarist Seretse Small; the colourful and vibrant Nexus Performing Arts Group; and backing band Pon Fyah, led by musical director O'Zuone, will also perform.

The concert is celebrating 17 years. "We always try to come up with a package that leaves patrons wanting more," said another organiser, Nancy McLean.
