Star studded cast for Miss Jamaica World Grand Coronation Show

Spartan Health Club and the Miss Jamaica World Pageant return to the Stadium Complex after a near 20-year hiatus on Saturday, September 23 with the hosting of the 2017 Pageant final, known traditionally, as The Grand Coronation Show.

The event will be staged in the National Indoor Sport Centre and will mark its grand return with a star stud entertainment package and royal red-carpet treatment.

Headlining the glamorous blitz affair will be the ever talented crooner – Romain Virgo, who is known internationally for his specialisation in the lovers rock style of reggae music and his captivating stage performances. Alongside him is ‘My dream’ reggae artiste, Nesbeth.

Spartan will also be exploring a fresh, new, innovative combination of MCs to lead the night’s proceedings along. The job has been entrusted to the charismatic and gorgeous Miss Jamaica World 2007 and 1st runner up – Miss Universe 2010, presenter, model, host - Yendi Phillipps, co hosted by the humorous sensation, Music Industry Achievers’ Award for Social Media Personality of the Year in 2012 – Quite Perry.  

Exclusive Live Steaming owned and promoted by Spartan Health Club on Spartan TV, will be hosted by one of Jamaica’s most loved radio personalities, Paula Ann Porter-Jones.

The MJW live stream is an exclusive and historical act, as it is the first time in Jamaica that a promoter, owns the rights and is the promoter of its own stream and content on its own medium.  

After several weeks of an exciting but challenging run to the finals, one of 18 of Jamaica's most beautiful ladies will have the honour of wearing the coveted Miss Jamaica World crown and have the opportunity to be an ambassador representing Jamaica at the Miss World Pageant in China later this year.

The Miss Jamaica World Pageant is presented by Spartan Health Club with associate sponsor Melia Braco Village. The contestants are vying for the 876 Blue Mountain Spring Water Brand Ambassador award of $1 million.
