With more than 30 boldfaced names in Caribbean music expected to perform, the benefit concert, Caribbean Love Now JAMATHON, is set to take place at the National Indoor Sports Centre on November 22, 2017.

“We are moved to help the people affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria and this has galvanised many in the music industry. We now have a movement that’s natural, and given the heightened level of interest, we knew we had to raise the bar. That’s why we are now moving to the National Indoor Sports Centre, Kingston’s best venue for the kind of production we want to deliver,” said Joe Bogdanovich, founder of Caribbean Love Now.

He noted that the change in venue was only made possible with the support of the Hon. Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport.

“There is no doubt that Minister Grange has a very sharp instinct for the kind of work we want to do with Caribbean Love Now. The concert event can have regional and global impact. We appreciate the Minister’s contribution in helping to make this happen,” Bogdanovich said.

Some of the best-known performers in reggae, gospel, dancehall and soca, have signed on for the benefit concert from which proceeds will go directly to the people of countries affected by the hurricanes.
