Etana surges to top spot - 'Chronology' re-enters listing at number eight
In addition to hitting the top of the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart for the week up to Saturday, March 31, Etana's Reggae Forever has nabbed a couple of weekly honours. The album is now in its third week on the listing. It is not only tagged as a gainer, but has also enjoyed the greatest upward movement, vaulting from number five on last week's edition of the chart. Also pushing its way upwards is the Grammy-winning Stony Hill by Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley, which now sits in the number two slot. Now in its 35th week on the chart, the former long-running number one was fourth last week.
It is a vastly changed chart from last week, as Chronixx's Chronology, at number eight, is one of three albums in the lower half of the top 10 to re-enter the listing. They are all former number ones, too, as Good Life (Collie Buddz) is seventh and Wash House Ting (J Boog) is 10th. Wash House Ting is in the slot vacated by this week's number six, Poetry in Motion (SOJA) - which is also a former number one. And last week's holder of the number six slot, A Real Labour of Love (UB40 featuring Ali, Astro and Mickey) is now at number nine. For good measure, it is also a former number one.
After Stony Hill, completing the top five is Roots of Creation's Grateful Dub (which was number one last week) at number three, the Various Artistes Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica at number four, and Henricci's Sister Caro EP - the only set on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart this week which is not a former number one.
