The National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica (NDTC) will once again stage an Easter act of worship called Morning of Movement and Music at the Little Theatre on Sunday, April 1, at 6 a.m. This is the 37th staging of the 75 minutes long sunrise event, which was conceived as a celebration of Season of Renewal. The programme will guided this year by the NDTC's newly appointed artistic director Marlon D. Simms, and acting musical director Heston Boothe.

The act of worship will feature the NDTC Singers and Musicians performing hymns, negro spirituals and an original composition from renowned director Noel Dexter. Dancers will execute works from former NDTC artistic director Prof. Rex Nettleford, veteran choreographer Clive Thompson, Arsenio Andrade-Calderon, Kevin Moore, Yendi Phillipps, Sherona McAllister and Charissa Allwood.
