Kodi Smit-McPhee, the boy with extraordinary survival skills and the lone wolf in Alpha.

Cold, desperate and afraid, young Keda tries to survive alone in the wilderness after he's left for dead during his first hunt with his Cro-Magnon tribe. Being the son of Tau (Johannes Haukur Johannesson), the 'alpha' of his people, greatness should be instinctive to him, yet he is a sensitive lad who has a problem with killing animals. He soon forms an unlikely alliance with a lone wolf that was abandoned by its pack. Facing overwhelming odds and non-stop danger, Keda and the wolf must now trek through a harsh and unforgiving landscape and overwhelming odds to make it home before winter.

Alpha is directed by Albert Hughes and written by Daniele Sebastian Wiedenhaupt, from a story by Hughes. The film stars Kodi Smit-McPhee, Leonor Varela, and Jens Hulten.
