Two of Pulse's hot new male faces will be hitting the international market this fall, in the form of Ryan Stewart and Ashawni Stewart.

Ryan is the winner of Pulse's 2013 CMS Male Face competition, while Ashawni earned the runner-up spot in 2012. Both have been doing photos shoots and several local gigs as they prepare for their New York auditions with several of the top agencies in that city.

A graduate of the Moneague Teachers' College, Ryan has been longing for this opportunity for as long as he can remember. He tells Flair, "I have done a lot of work and I am ready to take my chances in New York."

At 6'2", his well-toned body is the result of extensive workouts minus heavy weights. The sports lover has no regrets about cutting back on his mass as he prepares to take the leap into the modelling industry. "I have had to just focus on jogging and skipping to get my body into a leaner frame because this is what modelling requires, and I am committed."

CONFIDENCE INCREASE

On the other hand, Ashawni has had to do some bodybuilding as part of his preparations. Tall and slender, he was a hit when he participated in the Caribbean Model Search. He was only 16 years old when he came to Pulse, but the shy teenager has grown in confidence and self-assurance especially since he now has made several appearances at Caribbean Fashionweek. From Petersfield in Westmoreland, he wants to make his parish and community proud. He has now successfully completed his studies and is looking forward to a bright future in the international market.

Both men hope to follow in the path of fellow pulse supermodels Lincoln Wynter and Oraine Barrett, who have done excellent work for Gucci, Vogue and Ralph Lauren.
